NEWBORN PhotoShoot
A 1-2 hour natural, newborn photography session in Auckland at my studio in St Heliers – captured within the first 10 days of life.
From 10 days on, everything changes. A newborn shoot will allow you to capture your little one who is ever so new to the world.
A newborn shoot in the studio is preferred, to have total control over lighting, the background and the set-up. However, we want the experience to be as easy on new mums as possible, so I can always come and set up a mini studio at home if you prefer.
We like to shoot natural with newborns, no baskets or dress-ups. If you have a special blanket from a loved one be sure to bring it along.
Capturing beautiful moments
We ensure we take our time with babies to make sure we capture the most beautiful, angelic images in that space of time. Our number one priority is making sure the baby is happy and content. 1-2 hours gives us time for feeding, burping, and changing; there is no rushing to ensure a relaxing environment for all. If you are bringing other family members along - they can always duck down to the beach, playground or a nearby cafe while we focus on the baby and pop back in for the family images.
We want you to look back on the images and have a memory of exactly what it was like having this beautiful sleepy newborn. The mannerisms, the stretching, the tiny little toes and eyelashes, the way you held him/her, and most importantly, we aim for these images showcase your incredible love for your little new human.
